Northern Spy The Northern Spy is tucked away from the main house, upstairs off the kitchen. The sleeping alcove with queen bed welcomes the morning sun through an arched honeycomb antique window above the bed. The wood stove keeps you cozy as you curl up in the big overstuffed chair with your favorite book, or sit at the writing desk and add a page to your journal. The room is perched above our hundred-year-old Dogwood tree, and in springtime the graceful, fragrant white blossoms float below your windows. French doors lead to your private deck which overlooks the gardens and orchard...a perfect place for morning breakfast or afternoon tea.
