Pippin
The Pippin is on the main floor of the house off the dining room. The morning sun greets you through soft yellow glass in the pillowed window seat tucked next to the double bed. The soft pastel colors of the vintage 1930s quilts welcome you as do the textured fabric on the walls. Wake up to the fragrance of apple muffins cooking in the kitchen just around the corner. The window across from the bed looks out upon our extraordinary ancient "strawberry tree." We call Pippin the Grandmother room for it evokes the spirit and feeling of my grandmother Anna Reuther in its beauty and gentleness.

The Childrens' Room / Library Room

The coziest room of the house, the Childrens' Room is directly off the library on the main floor. When you lie in the double bed, the shelves and walls have a collection of antique teddy bears and other childrens' treasures and whimsies which greet you each morning. It's a wonderful room in which to curl up with a good book or enjoy a lazy afternoon. Our ancient Gravenstein apple tree with its rhythmic woodpeckers stands outside your window.

"a place of sweetness and healing...Grandmother's house...bringing rest and nourishment." - from the guest book
